We will be staring a new series called Alive and Dangerous that will focus on what it means to be fully alive. This series contains Life Nights on our desire for God and how we find fulfillment and happiness in Him. The topics covered include our call toward love, substitutes of God’s love, counterfeits of God’s love, and holiness.

This Sunday we will focus on the importance of the sacramental priesthood, which was instituted by Christ at the Last Supper as a sign of the Lord’s abiding presence and priestly action in the Church (CCC 1564). Priests act in the person of Christ, in persona Christi capitas, and have a special focus on the ministry of the word and of the Sacraments. Father Norm will be our special guest speaker as he shares with us the importance of the priesthood.
This Sunday we will continue the topic of Vocations, as we look at the Vocation to Marriage. We will have a two part series on this important and relevant topic. In part one we will have some guest speakers to come and share their Vocation to Marriage story with us and part two will give the teens an opportunity to discuss further the importance of this beautiful and foundational Sacrament.
So often we make big life decisions based on what we want and how it will benefit us. How often do we bring God into our decision making? How often do we ask God what He wants for our lives and how we can best serve Him? This Sunday, we will begin a three part series on discernment. We will break open what discernment is, what we are all called to, and how we pray and listen for God’s voice in a noisy world.
